As with Bruffy I often found myself riding with Quentin and always considered him fast and safe and never saw him put a wheel wrong. Had a great ride with him to the Mogumba pub a few rides ago. I cannot believe this was rider error especially as he was slowing down before riding wide. Something happened. A True Gent

I'm at a loss for words. For a bloke like Quentin to be taken from us so soon and before I got to know him well, somehow I feel cheated. If there is a heaven let there be no refueling stops, an endless selection of choice machinery, corners wjthout long straights and a pub full of like minded souls at the end.

Condolences to his family and friends. A true gentleman in every sense of the word and a genuine character. We only knew him for a relatively short time but he will be sadly missed. RIP Quentin, your spirit will live on in DOCWA, the club you so embraced. It has been a pleasure to have known you. Lauder/Snapperhead/Guido

I have been a member for the past 5 years. My work does not allow me to get to many rides but when I do make one or two of them a year it’s a great day.
I am sadden to hear the news that Quentin Landre has passed away during a club ride.
Can you please pass on my deepest sympathy to the family of Quentin.
I am also not able to attend the funeral as I will be away for work commitments.
It is people like Quentin that make a club a real club. There are not many people around like this anymore.
From reading the many tributes it is hard to accept that these things happen to good people and experienced people.
It reminds us all of our own mortality and puts back into perspective what things in life are more precious to us.
I am sure that Quentin was doing something that he was passionate about in going out for a ride with a group of mates and a good club.
I hope that his family will take some console that he was doing what he liked at the time.
Again please pass on my deepest condolences to the family of Quentin Landre and to the club that a great member has been lost.
Kind regards
Joe Vetrone

To all members of DOCWA who attended Quentin's funeral today and to those who couldn't make it but offered their condolances, I personally would like to thank you all for the compassion, kindness and understanding given to Margaret and her family.
Margaret has nothing but praise for DOCWA and has told me that our empathy has been a great support to her and helped her to begin getting through this tragedy.
Thank you all, it reinforces what a great club we have, made up of great people.

Just catching up on emails and come across this sad news. A great loss to his family and obviously by the tributes a great loss to the club and his riding buddies. I did know of Quentin through work and all the good things said are exactly how I know him.
Thanks to the DOCWA members who attended his service and giving him a send off he would approve of... RIP
My deepest sympathy to his family.
