Hey all,
DOCWA Forum virgin, posting for the first time.
I have recently acquired a 1989 851 Strada Biposta that is not quite the bike it was meant to be.
However, not dissimilar to those infrequent occasions when one falls in love with someone who appears drop dead gorgeous and later reveals they have a third arm growing out of the middle of their back, I am falling in love with this less than perfect bike.
But like the third arm, certain things on the bike need to be removed. First up, I need to replace the non-standard monoposta tail piece with a biposta PLASTIC unit.
I also need a speedo cable.
Anybody? I suspect dismembering limbs may be simpler than replacing parts on a 89 851

Used to use AISAT a few years back who made up speedo cables among other things. If you have the old one they may be able to help. AISAT Unit 12 2 Tulloch Way, Canning Vale Western Australia 6155 P. (08) 9350 5545 | F. (08) 9451 4808 E. aisat@aisat.com.au

Hey Red. Checked em, but it's fibreglass. Really want the original plucky stuff if I can get it
